The Ascom i63 is the newer VoWiFi handset in Ascom’s line-up, built for the same open Wi-Fi and SIP-based deployments as the i62 but with a sharper colour display, added Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless headsets, and support for the faster 802.11ac standard. It’s available in Talker, Messenger, and Protector variants, with the higher tiers adding interactive messaging and man-down/no-movement alarm features for lone workers. A 920mAh battery gives up to ten hours of talk time and 100 hours standby, and the rugged, IP44-rated casing is designed to survive drops and routine disinfection in busy healthcare or industrial settings.
