Stepping up from the entry-level 9811, the Cisco Desk Phone 9841 adds a 3.5-inch backlit grayscale display and four programmable line keys, making it well suited to general office desks that need a bit more line capacity and visibility. Like the rest of the 9800 Series, it runs Cisco’s PhoneOS, giving IT teams one consistent software experience whether the phone is registered to Webex Calling, Unified Communications Manager, BroadWorks, or another SIP platform. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports support a phone-and-PC connection through a single network drop, and a USB-A port adds headset or accessory support. Hardware security features, including Trusted Platform Module 2.0, help protect calls and configuration data from tampering.
