The Cisco 9800 Key Expansion Module clips onto compatible 9800 Series desk phones to add a bank of 20 backlit, tri-colour programmable keys across two pages, giving 40 total line or speed-dial positions. It’s built for receptionists, team assistants, or anyone monitoring a large number of extensions, with its own 5-inch colour display matching the host phone’s screen. The 9851 supports one module, while the 9861 and 9871 can each run up to three for very high line-count setups. Power is drawn through the host phone’s USB port, with a Cisco Power Adapter 3 needed once more than one module is connected.
