At the top of the range, the Cisco Desk Phone 9871 swaps the standard display for a 5-inch colour touchscreen, letting users tap through calls, contacts, and meeting controls instead of relying solely on hard keys. It shares the 9861’s Bluetooth 5.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi radios, built-in ThousandEyes monitoring, and two-way AI noise removal, but supports a far higher number of programmable lines for heavy multi-line environments. As with the rest of the 9800 Series, it runs on PhoneOS and connects seamlessly to Webex Calling, Unified Communications Manager, BroadWorks, or Asterisk. It’s a natural fit for executive desks, help desks, or anywhere a touch-first phone interface adds real value.
